Apache Trail Tours has openings for year-round as well as seasonal guides.
Our peak season is November through April but we run year-round.

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean 36 mo. driving record
- Verifiable manual 4×4 expertise
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- No physical limitations to driving off-road over rugged terrain, changing tires, working outdoors year-round, driving/conducting tours up to 9 hours/day
- Responsible individual with attention to detail
- Fluent in English
- Effective communicator, well spoken, excellent grammar
- Engaging, outgoing personality
- Self-motivated but team player that follows directions
- Extensive knowledge of local flora, fauna, history, and legends (training manuals available).
Scheduling
Typical schedule is 7 days on/7 days off. Weekends and holidays (Except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Easter Sunday) are required.
Pay
Pay range is $17-$19 an hour dependent upon experience. Tour guides are paid per tour completed, rig pick-up/return time, refuel runs plus compensation for use of personal cell phone. Paid training.
This position does not offer a guaranteed income. Guides are paid for the tours they run and there are no guaranteed hours.
